    i have a rebuilt 3.1 that runs fine and an engine swap is not coming anytime soon what are some of the first things i can do to increase the power without emptying my pockets

    im currious myself, budget build wanna get some power.
    id love to eventually maybe a complete swap for a turbo 3.8 but thats a ways away.

    You click on the links on the left hand side and select the 3.1 LHO...but what else do you want? It is a 3.1...what is on that site is the best site that you'll find for LHO performance parts...it isn't a strong basis to build on, hence why most people swap out a 3.8 (L36/L26) or supercharged equivalant (L67/L32). Get a 3400 Top Swap, cam, and heads...and a tune...it MIGHT run low 14's...MIGHT. Only other thing I could see is a top swap 3400 and using a Grand Am Turbo Kit running about 6-9 psi.

    yea my friend has a grand am i was gonna ask ask if she would do a top swap for a 3400 i told her she doesnt need the extra power
