    ok now i just fixed the IAC and the car is dying when i put it in gear and it still wants to idle high. what might be the problem i need to fix it so i can get to work!!! any help will be appreciated!!!!

    Did you disconnect the battery when you were installing the IAC? To let the PCM clear and relearn everything?

    Also, try to unplug the MAF and see if it idles better.

    no i didnt unplug the batt. but i will. it idles fine now the problem is that when i put it inn drive it dies. does that mean that the neutral safety switch is bad?/

    Most likely not a Neutral Safety Switch. This shouldn't have anything to do with the car stalling. Try disconnecting the MAF sensor.
