Ugh time to drive it as is because it drives fine just gets hot with idle. What do we think of this gadget.

best to just wire the fans like fog lights with a switch but use a relay. what i ended up doing on my old truck that swapped to electric fans.
i bought one of them t stat push in the fins controllers and it burnt up fast, was also 100 bucks.
So tap fuse box inside the car. Run that power to the switch and the relay low power. Then run battery post to the high power relay? Seems simple enough

pretty much. i had two relays, one for each fan, not sure if you need that much or not. but i ran one wire off the battery split to the replays, same for the powered switch wire that came from the in car fuse box.
Buy the darn blue devil head gasket sealer.
Follow the instructions and boom done no rewiring crap or tearing your engine apart.
Unless you like doing things the hard way. My van was good for 20kish miles then sold it with 150k new owner is still happy and it had the same problems your having even gasket material in the coolant.
Lol Scotty I would screw that up for sure I hate wires
i must say, i have no issues installing and wiring up new things. follow a diagram and off you go. i went and got female blade connections and they slide right on the relays blades like they were meant to be there. easy peasy.
now finding and fixing electrical crap is not my gig at all. hate that crap so much.
but really, buy the blue devil, it works, its likely the only head gasket repair in a bottle that does work.
I do have black debris in my coolant. Could be the HG. I just really don't want to think I ****ed up that head gasket job.
I still feel like it would overheat while driving like it did prior with a bad head gasket. Also doesn't overheat with heater core on. Acting like a mini radiator

Well I ran it with the cap on. With new coolant sensor. Runs fine. At 225 fans kick it back down to 200. Gages read boiling when scan tool reads 225. Maybe I can replace that sensor since it seems a little off. Any help where that's located?
Just want to get the ignition switch cleaned so my heat and AC works now. And

Hey man how are you bleeding your system are you using the bleeder screw on the thermostat housing just curious
Bleeding it with the cap off and topping it off when the level drops. I do. Crack the bleeders to let air out aswell.
Maybe the head gasket did go bad again. ****ing **** was doing good.
Idling fine took almost 30 minutes to get up to 225. Fans kicked on and cooled it down.
Everything was great.
Took it for a drive just now it sat around 210. Low coolant light was on and no heat only cool air.
So either I got a big ass air pocket when I changed the coolant temp sensor or when the fluid bubbled over while I was trying to bleed it earlier.
Or I have a blown head gasket that's eating coolant into the exhaust and I'm getting exhaust bubbles when I bleed it.
**** this car

Probably just an air bubble though.
I'll let you guys know tomorrow with an update wether you want it or not
