Fan only works at a spot between 4-5. When the fan is on, it turns off the AC. I swapped out the blower motor resistor but that didn't change anything. i checked all of the fuses.

I read about the ignition switch causing similar problems. From what I read though I should also be having daytime running light issues? Those are working fine. I have had an intermittent problem that when I plug in an OBD scanner it kicks on the security light and I have to reprogram the key.

I can get a new ACDelco lock cylinder and ignition switch from Amazon for about $100.

Anything else I should be looking at?

Ignition switch can do a ton of different things, just because the lights are still working doesn't rule it out.

You don't need a new lock cylinder, just buy a new ignition switch.

Rockauto used to have them priced for about $77 last time I bought one.

Thanks. Amazon had it for $79 shipped. Will be here Friday. Doesn't look like a bad job to replace it.

Is there a relay for the blower? It still kicks on between 4-5 and I can hear something clicking down by the blower.

Found it, the relay is in the resistor.

At the fan I only have power on setting 1 and between 4 & 5. I verified this on the old and new resistor. What about a problem with the dial itself?
