Hi to all...first post.
Have a 2006 GP GT. Purchased a few years ago with about 60K on the clock. Now has about 125K. When in Drive and starting out, when the trans temp is above about 165 degrees, and I get on it about half throttle, its like it disengages for a slight instant and then slams back into first. I had done it full throttle once and thought I had ripped the entire engine and trans right out. Scared the crap out of me. It never does it when the trans temps are under about 165 and it never will do it, when I manually shift it, no matter the trans temp.
I took it to a trans shop once, but they could not read any codes. I have done some web searching, but nothing specific is coming up.
Any clues?
