I had a used transmission put into my 1998 Grand Prix GTP Supercharged. The problem I have is it doesn't seem to shift at the right times.

When I have the performance shift on, it seems to shift a lot better like the original transmission did before it took a crap.

    Any ideas?

We are going to need a lot more info to be able to offer good suggestions.

Start off by checking the fluid level.

Then.. what did the transmission come out of? How many miles on it etc etc etc

Don't have much to give you for info then. If it's the same year/same car it should be the same trans.

If it was from a SC buick regal, then it's also the same trans.
