I'm looking for A, B, PCS, and TCC. My trans has an intermittent issue where sometimes it doesn't like to go into 4th and after about a mile or so in 3rd, it'll finally go into 4th.

The gears all feel fine, so I'm thinking it might be a solenoid issue despite no code.

I'm gonna throw all of them at the trans and see what sticks. If it's still a no-go afterwards, it might be time to get a trans out of the pick n' pull.

Most guys go here for one stop shopping....
    http://shop.tripleedgeperformance.co...itches_c24.htm
I took a chance on my pressure switch manifold and got that from a company called Buffalo Engine Components. They have all the solenoids plus gaskets for cheap. I was just a little hesitant on some of the heavier solenoids to get them here when Triple Edge offers guarantee (with a diagnostic from a Trans shop).
I would also recommend replacing the 4th gear while you are in there and a shift kit too. I just searched for the hardened 4th gear on ebay and do some research on the forum for the best shift kit for you. Hope this helps.

I'm also thinking the 4th clutch hub is a good thing to add while you are there.

This is what I was referring to when I said 4th gear, I just used the wrong terminology. Sorry about that.

Alright, hit me with some straight talk: can that be finagled while the trans is still in the car? I don't want to take it out, which is half the problem.

This will explain it step by step. No problem helping you here but search the forum a little for this stuff too. There is a lot of help in the how to write ups section.

It gets better.. apparently when I was doing all those write ups, I felt that things were super simple. Found it by mistake.. the word "ea sy" (without spaces) is in almost every write up..lol

I've noticed you usually tell people to search for the repair topic plus "ea sy" I think it is in order to find your write ups..lol.

It is now.. I happened to search on it one day thinking I had just said it. Nearly all the how to's popped up. Hit me as funny, seems I find something in the how to's as ea sy.
