    Hey guys I'm new here, Hoping someone could help me out, I bought this 2004 Grand Prix GT1 Few months ago had a weird noise but i thought nothing of it, until last week i determined it was coming from the transmission.

    Only makes LOUD noise while in PARK or NEUTRAL... and while driving makes a slight whining noise...sounds almost like a power steering pump, which it's not. I will post a link to the video I hope someone can help me figure it out!!

    Is it the roaring type sound that you are hearing? It's tough in a vid sometimes to discern which noise
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    I don't know how to explain that noise, it's not really a roaring...its the weird sound whenever it's out of a gear.
