Hey GXP owners, I was stopped at a red light on a hill the other night and when I took my foot off of the brake to take off the car rolled backwards. I thought it was a fluke thing so I went to a spot where there was an incline to test it again...sure enough the car would roll backwards as if it was in neutral, as soon as I hit the gas the car went forward as normal....is that normal for these cars?

    '06 GXP 83K miles.

    Thanks guys!

No. Slight incline. I can duplicate it at my apartment complex, I'll snap a pic of how steep(or lack thereof) the incline is.

Yup that is normal. At idle your torque converter is causing your trans to slip until you rev your engine up enough to build enough pressure for for it engage fully.
