4T65E HD Diff Gears Breaking Apart

    First of all
About 3 months back, along story short, i converted the trans from non HD to HD.
About two weeks ago my trans started to delay shift while transitioning to shift up to next gears on a few occasions, to the point of getting past the rev limiter i believe at around 6700 rpm, and if i went to WOT, it was slipping.
About 1 week ago it started getting more frequently very fast then would not engage any gear at all 1-2-3-4 and reverse, unless i turned the car off and turned it back on and still only lasted for about 10 seconds.
So i tore it down and found what appeared to be small pieces of gears in the bottom of the pan, but no sparkles or metal flakes in the oil. I completely tore down all the clutch assembly's and no leopard spotting, no burnt clutches, no bad bearings, and chain and gear-set all looked good.
Then took out the diff assembly and there it was! Final drive ring, sun, and the 4 smaller gears that mesh with the sun gear were all chipped up. So i imagine the tcc solenoid is plugged with debris.
I kinda feel stupid asking this, but did i forget something when i did my swap?

You put the sun gear in backwards. When it's installed backwards, the result is what you have.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

So have not had any luck finding any info for rebuilding or setting up the gears for the diff yet.
Does anyone have any illustrations or specs for the diff?
