Ok..I violated about a billion work laws.

Don't wiggle the diff. See that round pin that made the score mark in the cover. Push/tap that only to see if it'll move sepearte from that diff housing with the gears.

yes you pic in post 19 is the same pin thats out in this pic. see the dot at the end, thats a broken roll pin. you'll have to punch it out and install a new one if yours moves in when tapped with a hammer.

its roll pin is broken, you need to remove the pin pound out the broken pin and the same for case where the pin sits. then line the pin back up and drive a new roll pin in.

any hardware store sells them, harbor freight sells a nice box of many sizes for like 3 bucks. home depot and lowes also have them.

i recall the first time i took my friend to HF, he walked out with a100 bucks worth and a ton of stuff walking to the car hes keeps telling me how much i suck for taking him there, ( he loves the place) any way he picked up a box of roll pins, we never needed one before, but damn ive used them 4 or 5 times since he got the box. they are nice to have.

this leak was good for you. that was a bomb waiting to go off. While I'm not sure why it's leaking.. I can tell you that diff pin is not good when it's loose. roll pin it or another diff.
