so in myother thread in the engine section i had thought the car was having a misfire which started a couple weeks ago only to realize that it was transmission related because the other day the SEL light 0742 came up and the car was having trouble picking up speed when i was at a stop or anything under 15mph. when i was able to pull into my driveway i got out and popped the hood and i could hear what was a buzzing sound coming from the transmission case. i pulled the dipstick and the color's normal/red. the trans temp was in the 140-150*F (auxiliary trans cooler). i reset/cleared the Cel and went out for a 4mile drive and everything shifts fine and the buzzing sound was gone. once i gotten back home and pulled into teh driveway the buzzing sound came back but no CEL (yet).
is this just a bad TCC solenoid and PCS needed to get replaced (going to take it to the local/nearby specialize transmission shop i go to for tranny work) as well as have a trans fluid and filter change or withe the buzzing sound it may be more severe than that? suggestions and help is greatly appreciated.![]()
