I have a 99 gt, non s/c that has 184,000 on it. Trans is slipping some and I have some hard shifts from 3 rd to 4th. Rest of the time it shifts fine. Only when it is up to operating temps do we have these problems. I think it is time for a rebuild.Electronic problem???? So...... if I have it rebuilt, what are some of the mods would you tell your local shop to do(hardened 4 gear drum) etc, etc. At 52 years old ,I don't drive like a bat out of hell but want a sturdy commuter car. The rest of the car is wonderful because it is garage kept and had been all of its life. I like the car and plan to keep it a while. New ones just too damn $$$$$$$$.
