    Hello everyone,
    I'm having a problem. I have a 1999 Grand Prix GT (not supercharge) and I get the code P0742 (car shakes also) whenever I drive my car for over 20 min. or go over 50mph, which sucks. I understand that the code means that I have to replace my tcc solenoid but I can't seem to find it. Does anyone know where it is? I've tried looking for pics or anything that can help me but I couldn't find anything. Please help.

    its in the transmission. the side cover needs to come off to get to it.

    98 Buick Regal GS, F body brakes, Caddy STS wheels, tinted tails L36 bottom end, lightly ported heads, 1.95 roller rockers, headers, gen 5 N* 3.0 pulley, FSIC, 42 lb injectors, a BrandonHall rebuilt trans, DHP tuned and AEM water/Meth injection https://goo.gl/gpV5kW

    http://www.grandprixforums.net/showt...t=82478&page=5 post 94, he posted a vid, towards the end hes putting the sensors back in and then plugs the harness in, its one of them.

    Double check that code. It's not always a soleniod. It can be a hung up valve in the VB etc.
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    I checked on 2 code scanners and the both said tcc stuck. I read a few articles about this being a common problem. How would I check to see if it is a hung up valve in the valve body.
