theres a how to for changing those sensors, the side cover has to come off the tranny. it can be done in the car, but its not one of them 100% deals.

I drove the car it came out of so I know it is good. 40k original miles on it, out of a 98 GTP, has new TransGo shift kit, filter, pan gasket, and high temp Aluminum paint job. This is a what a "full rebuild" should really look like. Typically a trans shop only repairs the problem without thoroughly going through the entire trans inspecting and replacing wear items as needed.
