The gods have not been well to me lol.

To add to my host of problems as of late my torque converter has been engaging and disengaging quite frequently. Like its hard shudder and its awful and the rpm tries to rise but it will go up and down.

    What's my options?

I've heard that the brake switch can sometimes cause this. Ironically my brake switch isn't working.

I heard that I can cut the tcc wire on the trans to completely disable it.

I also heard of putting something on the brake switch as well.

I've reset the PCM by shortening out the battery cables as well.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Time for an update.

While driving home from work the tcc got worse. It was like it Wouldn't unlock. I was doing 60 at 1500. It wouldn't unlock unless I gave it full throttle. I finally found the brake switch under the shifter and i I'm going to repair it in the morning. Maybe that will fix my cruise Control issue. Also I heard that a coolant sensor can sometimes wreak havoc on the trans and of course mines isn't working. Smh

I think if you fix the known issues, you'll have a great running car.

Til then.. it's impossible to diagnose things that rely on the parts you know are malfunctioning.

Now onto the rain and pouring thing. Since you know there's issues and haven't yet fixed them...does this mean that the water hitting you isn't rain? j/k But you know it's kind of funny.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Some folks found that when the trans acted up, the adaptive shifts are sometimes reset by remove the cables and touching them together while they are unhooked from the battery.
