The whole reason for the TCC lockup is to reduce heat right?
Well if there is no heat to begin with then you should be fine....Right?
I know nothing about these transmission so that was more of a question.

That's part of the reason. The main reason it was brought about was gas mileage.Originally Posted by TDCRacing
