I have never had to buy one, or sell one, what do the 4T65E-HD transmissions typically cost? Specifically one from a 98 GTP with low miles (40,000) that is in perfect working condition, and has a new TransGo shift kit, and filter installed.

I paid $400 plus $100 core for a 2005 4t65e at a recycler that had been resealed, coated and dynotest.

The guy that purchased my motor I had built for the Fiero was going to run his 5 speed Getrag, so I told him I would take $250 off the package price if I keep the trans. Guess it worked out good in my favor then since I know it is in perfect working condition! Now I have a low mileage spare Time to intercool the Regal and grenade my current one!

I am thinking if it survives the dyno tune, then I will do a huge burnout. I need an excuse to put the new tires on that I have had sitting around for like 2 months now..

I paid $102.50 for the last HD I bought, unknown miles but it was a fairly recent rebuild. No core charge so I sold my old HD diff as an upgrade kit for non-HDs for $150. So that paid for the trans, new fluid, and a filter. Typically $3-500 though so you did good.

    In for vids!
