So, A friend of mine told me, that the trans from my 97 GTP wont go into my 01. And i don't see why it wouldn't. Their both 4T65E-HD Transmissions. Anybody have any insight on this? If it will fantastic, i have a spare trans to sent out and have built.
    Thanks guys.

I think you can use a 97-02, not an 03 trans. I also think 2000-2002 had a little different trans line fittings?

Well trans line fitting's are no problem for me to work around. I know i could make it all work, it's just how they connect. I just need to know if the trans is actually compatable with my 01. Would be great and save me some coin.

If both are a 4T65e HD and from 97-02 it will work.

So go ahead with the swap. Like said above the trans line connectors are differnet, but that is not an issue.
