Ok so i was going to start my car and it would start. I tried to put the car in neutral and it would not let me. I kind of god mad and pulled the shifter and then it went into D but it took a lot of force for it to get into drive. Im thinkin it broke the cable. took it to the shop and they said it was the strater that wouldnt let the car start they replced it and it started but it still has the tranny problem. We disconnected the cable from the linkage to the tranny and he said you should be able to move it through the gears with your hand, but we had to use a long pry bar to hit it back to park. I dont know why it is so stiff and what might be the problem. Any help????
