Its going to take more than just an intake and tune for the N/a to keep up with a GTP. Otherwise, like you said, that GTP must have had some big problems.

Were not trying to burst your bubble or anything but your definitely not as fast as a gtp. The Gtp driver must of been retarded or his car is f***** up.

Lets face it, 3800 Series II N/a vs. 3800 Series II Supercharged.

If N/a Grand Prix's were just as fast as an L67, why would people top swap then?

Im not sure what to think, if this kid honestly thinks an N/a is faster than an l67.

Theres no point in modding an N/a anyways. its not boosted so you can only go so far.

i think hes starting to get that its not faster lol but the whole story about the car outrunning cops baffles me. i dont know what mods he could possibly have to make him that fast and be N/A.

You want a faster car eh?

Dont top swap. Go turbo, you get way more gains on a turbo.

Outrunning the cops? Makes me wonder how much truth is behind this story.

turbo will definitely give you more power, but its also more expensive. im doing a top swap first just because its cheaper haha. then when i have enough money for my big plans ill be supercharged and turbocharged with a twin turbo hoping for 700+ hp lol

Wait what? you wanna be twin turbo'd with a supercharger also?

So two turbos and a supercharger?

    Good luck.

Some people have twin charged their grand prix's but honestly you can get just as much, if not more power from a single larger turbo.

    GO TURBO.

save your pennies and buy the z3 kit from ZZP, you will make plenty of power for a decent price.

yeah thats what im thinking. zzp sells that stattama turbo kit that has a twin turbo option available. and i was looking at zzp's crate engine and they say it can get 500-600 hp i believe so im thinking if i do an l67 build and put twin turbo on it the power could be massive. ill be thinking about either twin turbo or just one huge turbo though i guess. i have plenty of time to think about it thats for sure lol. i probly wont be doing this for another 10-20 years.

20 years is a long time.

I dont know much about turbo-ing as i havent really looked into it but i thought i read somewhere you can get just as good as gains from a single large turbo than two smaller turbos.

But hell, what do i know?

yeah man if you want massive power gains go turbo. supercharging will only give you another 60 hp, and thats no even to the wheels. ive heard of people gaining 150 whp just from turbos
