yea im sick of it i know your sick of it.. problems.. yesterday around 2 pm drove home.. little to no shudder after car shifts gears.. i said to myself.. time to change the filter and gasket.... soo this morning at 7 am.. i started my car... rpm idled at 1100 which is cool for cold crank up... when i put it in reverse.. it didnt change... much maybe 100 rpm drop.. i realized it but kinda blew it off... then i put it in drive.. it caught then sounded like a stick shift.. engaging the clutch on and off.. soo long story short.. it took me 35 minutes for a 10 minute drive..... got to work.. read code.. tcc stuck on... i took the fuse out to try to disengage it but.. didnt help... should i continue to go with filter and fluid flush or.. call the scrap yard... IM DONE

Wow Shawn, remind me to not go to Vegas with you!...or stand next to you while it's raining.

Might be solenoid, aye Bill?... Only way to find out is to remove the side cover and start digging.

Soleniod, valve, etc etc.. IIRC I think those are one of the upgrades from sonnax taht should be done. Based on the problem.

    Yep
The valve bore gets all tore up and causes many problems.

    Bill
If you had this problem on a high mileage tranny and had the valve body in hand would you do the Sonnax upgrade and slap it back together or go and get another used transmission?

I'd actually pull the known good VB/channel plate off the shelf, along with the set of channel plate gaskets and slap that in there. That way I can rebuild that VB when I have the time. You don't want to just slap a valve in w/o checking the other stuff.

So you're saying if it's the only VB you had you would do the Sonnax upgrade, rebuild the VB and replace the channel plate/gasket.

I was just wondering if it's worth the effort. Rebuilding a VB is expensive.

So no way that a fluid and strainer change will help it or possible fix it?

I guess new fluid could dislodge the bore valve and/or the solenoid. Some additive may help also...longshot though.
