But anyway.
You have a 4T65e.
Just like the thread you are posting in has the name of it in the title.
GT is NON HD1997 to current 4 speed Automatic (4T65E) (4T65E-HD)
GTP has have the HD diff.

Also if you are looking for a replacment or somthing like that, you need to have the correct year/s.
Like 04+ cars need use an 04+ transmission thats the same as the one you have in your car. Like GT to GT, and GTP to GTP.
97-03 transmissions are different for the way the PCM controls them and the parts inside are a little differernt.

In reality, all the transmissions are the exact same, parts wise.
Small things like gear ratio and the diff make them different.
Read up on the safely modding your car thread in the general tech section or the supercharged section, I forget where they keep it. Its got some good info, but reading is always your best friend.

ive been readin alot just did the free mod to my motor mounts thats a sweet trick
