just about an hour ago, I noticed when it's in R, I feel like the car is vibrating. only in reverse, and the car doesn't need to be moving. Is this something I need to fix ASAP? something I can do it by myself?

    Thanks,

How are your motor mounts? The two on the bottom I would suspect before the uppers.

Haven't been able to check..but long story story, it vibrates in D as well now. I have 1000mi drive coming up pretty soon. Should this be fixed before then??

Yeah, I bet it's your lower engine and transmission mount. But I mean, you'll be okay on the trip, if anything the vibration will get really bad but you always have the upper mounts so it's not like it's goin to flop out of the engine bay or anything like that. But if it were me, I'd fix my vehicle before going on a really long trip. I don't like problems and I don't like surprises.
