Thread: 1999 grand prix GT 3.8 What other tranny will fit my car?

Anyone know what trans will interchange with my car? I need an exact fit please and thank you! As always, any help is greatly appreciated!

Both are 3.29 gears which is what your car has.

So any "gt" trans will work from 98-02.

97 and 03 are different and cant be used.

The only small change in 2000 IIRC is the cooler line fittings, but thats nothing but 5 mins of swapping and your good.
