    I need to swap out the differential and output shaft on my trans, and am looking for a replacement. I thought I saw a post saying that the tooth count for ours (05 NA engine) was 35 teeth... but I am not finding that count ANYWHERE. I am seeing 32, 42, 38... but no 35 tooth diffs... Any help would be appreciated!!

    The sungear (inside the planetaries of the diff) is what matters on tooth count. Odd that you need to change the output shaft, those usually don't go bad.
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    You have any idea what the tooth count im looking for is? I figured i would replace the shaft while i am in there just as precaution. I have a vibration that i can not get rid of... which seems like it would be a cv related issue... but isnt. I have replaced tons upon tobs of stuff now. Replacing the diff.... shaft... needle bearings for the shaft ends... and seals.

    You might be better off getting one from Morad in Ohio. I just called them a fews days ago and they quoted me $450 100K for an L36.
    My tranny (200K) is doing the same thing even after replacing both half axles and wheel bearings. The noise is driving me crazy. Sometimes if feels like I'm driving around with mud tires that are cupped.
