My trans ('97) just ka-crapped on me. The local transmission shop around where I live said they can swap for $250 with everything. I found a trans at the junkyard for $250. My question is.... is $250 reasonable?

Just make sure the trans is the exact same, because you dont want to buy the wrong one.

$250 is very cheap in my opinion. Because they do it all day every day, it's likely quite easy for them. I charge more.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
