    99 gtp 171k miles and i lost D and 3 on the shifter it only moves forward in 2, im thinking i blew the trans because theres no solenoid from 2nd to 3rd in these transmissions. id like your guys thoughts though

    Forward band most likely.

    Will need to be rebuilt.

    Foward band for sure.

    You can confirm this by dropping the pan and feeling up the band. If it's wiggly jiggly or pieces are in the pan. Typicallky though...that's the issue you are experiencing
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
