Can you take another moment and help us with the symptoms. You said it start off with mild throttle, then slips, bangs into gear and seems ok. Other times it'll spin the tires...without slipping?
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

The car has 140,000 but i believethis is the third transmission in it. Believe on this one has around 40,000. 23,000 miles ago i pulled it out and tore it down to channel plate and replaced the channelplate gasket. Everything else looked fine. Fluid is normal red and smells fine not burnt

Giving normal throttle takeing offabout 2 secondsinto motion the tranny slips engine revs up. U let ofc throttle rpms cum down and tranny catchs. U can b driving 30 mph and floor it she will downshift and take off like a rocket. . From a stop u puch it tires will spin than she slips and than wants to spin again. It dont seem to want to shift from second gear. I didnt drive long orfast when ut started doing it. I didnt fet it above 35 or 40. Didnt want to cause any m ore damage than wat is done.

Nothing against you, but that's painful to try and read.

Seems like you have some trans knowledge. Do you think it's the input apply piston seal?

Could possibly be the torque converter slipping. U said the tranny fluid looks fine so that could be my only idea.

Yes.. I kinda do. That's why I asked if you thought it seemed like the issue I suggested. Thought you might have some trans knowledge and instead of linking you to that common issue, I asked. Would you like a link to the common description of the issue I'm talking about? It's on the tripleedgeperformance.com site.
