Post count not withstanding, most new memberships here seem to inclusde something ridiculous... I'll see your obvious nomination, and return with "One of The Most retarded" mods to be asked about from a newbie.
I may say rude things but learn to take a joke. The internet is funny when you can laugh.

Considered one for my fiero because i like to start in 2nd gear from a roll, and I have less than a second to get it put into 3....

Considering you are about 500whp away from having issues in that aspect, you probably dont need this shifter.

Way to prove I was right about you. Come back when your I.Q. is above room temperature.

@WS6: I agree, it's not really going to be that useful, but it's for fun and I don't care. It's not really rice and I had plans to do most other modifications (especially engine internals) first.

Reason being is when you shift up from low 1 to low 2, you're not shifting into 2nd gear, you're just unlocking 2nd gear allowing the car to shift into second once it reaches it's shift point. Essentially it would just never shift. Stock it already does what it sounds like you want it to do. If you leave the car in low 1 it wont shift to low 2 until it's in both low 2 or higher, and hit whatever RPM it shifts at. So you could essentially red-line it and then toss it into low 2, etc etc.

But that's all a really ****ing stupid idea on an auto. That's why tap-shift was invented, but tap-shift also sucks donkey cock.
Get a manual or do a manual conversion. Or just leave the car in drive.
    Try this sometime.

It shifts right into second anyways.

    Car DNGAF what you want.

Umadbro? The guys with neon under glow don't think its rice either. But alas I will read your write up and promise I won't even comment on it...but I'm gonna like the **** out of everyone elses comments. Have fun modding all your engine internals too.

You don't need to mod engine internals at all leave them stock.

not sure why the thought would make you laugh. does that mean the idea of a manual valvebody is also silly in THM350s, C6s, 727, 700r4s, and 4L60-Es as well?

implementing it into a 4t65 seems to be easier as you do nto even have to mess with the actualy valve body just the PCM. heck GM did this from factory with the comp-G and called it tap shift
But why make it an SE?

I though the tap shift had their own valve bodies.

Maybe not "internals" depending on who you ask, but I was going to do cam, rockers, springs, etc.

the tap shift has the low 2 and low postions blocked off as the selector does not go to them

The tap shift valve bodies are unique. Hence why a compg trans is waaayyy more expensive

yes i said that in the post dirrectly above your's

i gues i could have been more clear as saying the valve body does not have the passages for them either but thought i did not need to
But why make it an SE?
