back in 2010 i purchased a 2005 GTP Comp G with a bad transmission, rack and pinion etc it was a nice car as far as appearance goes, but mechanically it was very neglected, with that being said i had the transmission rebuilt a few months ago,now its starting to slip keep in mind i dont drive this car hard so im wondering what could have went wrong? i hate the fact that my car is in the shop, but the good thing is i had a warranty, mechanic said the transmission fluid smelled burned when they removed the transmission if that helps any

Slipping and burnt fluid could mean that a seal isn't sealing properly and allowing clutches to burn etc.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
