I'm working on a trans that has one of these installed. From what the previous owner told me, Tim King built this a few years ago. I'm planning on running a Quaife diff. Should I remove this and just run a stock setup, or would it be better to leave it in?

Best diff pic I happen to have is of an Intense LSD. If you ignore the plates and orange springs, it's a basic diff.

Looks like at best..it might be squirting up a little at the diff?

Honestly though. When you think of the lluid level.. is that above or under fluid? And with it spinning super fast, will any fluid actually make it into the gear area?
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Personally, I would leave it in there. I figure it can't hurt. Don't know if I would go through the trouble to put one in. But if it is there, leave it.

Thanks guys....I think I'm just going to leave it there so I don't have to mess with it.

If you're running a quaife you won't need that squirter. Quaife's have closed housings so that squirter wouldn't have any use. The purpose of that was so that you would be able to spray ATF to lubricate the center pin in a stock hd differential.
