I have a 1999 Grand Prix GT with the 4T65E transmission, 3.8 N/A engine, and the transmissions giving me major trouble. Serious slipping in first gear. Not the original, previous owner said mr. Transmission "built" it. I found the same type trans on craigslist but it came out of a 2001 impala, same engine. Would there be many differences, if any? And would all the electronics work properly?
    Thanks.

I want to say that it will fit without issue. However, if you can wait for some of the more knowledgeable members to chime in, then you definitely should.
