It all started this morning. Car has 115,000 miles on it. Started home from work and I noticed it jerked going from 1st to 2nd gear. Then it did it again! HELP!

your description is going to make it hard for people to diagnose what is going on. What do you mean by jerking? Is it shifting harder than normal or slipping. We need more details then "jerking". Any other symptoms associate with it?

Like it gets in a bind. Shifting hard. The dash shakes when it does it.

Wow, thought this was a Drunkie thread.

How many miles ago was your last transmission flush?

Anyway, aside from making sure the fluid is full, it's also good to make sure it's a healthy pink color and not glittery.

Also, make sure you scan for codes. Hard enough shifts will set off flags.

Could always unplug the battery for an hour to reset the transmission stuff and have it relearn itself. Sounds to me like you've got a part clogged, worn or broken. Check here for some more good info.
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.
