    i allready no it needs a full servise im gonna do that real soon the reason why im righting is cause when i shift in to drive there is a weird noise like a creek and i can feel a sutter also while im driveing when i it 20 i can feel the tranny jerk does this sound like i should need a new tranny soon

    man, put a space after three digits. For a second there i thought you said 2 million haha.

    The noise could be a low coolant level for the eninge.

    The stutter could be the engine as well.

    Jerking could be engine or transmission.

    if you have never did a fluid change that u know of in 200,000 miles, i would not change that fluid, esp if its dark and burnt up. 9 times out of 10 after a fluid change to a never serviced tranny, it wont drive off the lift afterwards,,just a warning.

    says right in the thread title KM, not miles.

    He only missed the recommended change interval by 40 000 KM which is 25 000 miles...

    But thats because the tranny settings are messed up, you basically need to reset the PCM's learned tranny settings. If you did that after a pan drop and filter change it'd probably be fine.

    i just got my grand prix i didnt get any servies record with the car so its hard to say whats been done to the car or tranny it the origanal tranny 200,000 k on it the engine was just swaped out on it and the tranny still gave me same noise and shutter with the frist engine , and the fluid was a bit dark and a bit low but no burnt smell at all and with the new engine same stuff im gonna do all the work my self soon thanks guys
