hey there...i think the title pretty much says it all. What Years, makes, and model will work for it?

i know the regal, Bonneville, and grand prix all use the S/C v6 (l67) engine, but what years and models use the same trans that we could just pull out and put in the 98 gtp any help would be appreciated thanks!

Anything from 98-02 will work from a GP. As long as its from a GTP as the gear ratios are different in the N/A cars. Not sure on the other cars.

Ah, yes, duh! Forgot to mention that. Yes, the trans. will have a different style fitting on the inlet side of the transmission. The end at the rad. is the same but GM changed the design where it goes into the trans.

This requires you to use a 98-99 threaded end style cooler line that connects to the transmission as the 00+ case has a different thread size for the feed line that wont work in a 98 case. You could swap fittings on the return line, which is the smaller of the two fittings, and use your stock cooler line.
