I just kind of want to get a general understanding here, I'm learning a bit more every day about how my car does what it does. But I do know that between your crank, and the wheels, power is lost. And its lost due to making everything work in between, which is why RWD lose more power to the wheels (that long driveshaft) and AWD even moreso. If I'm wrong or anything, feel free to correct me. But let's stay with our cars and our transmissions for the sake of this being a Grand Prix site...How...if at all possible can we reduce the lost between the crank and wheels, because as I understand, its not like a "you lose 20 hp" across the board, its more of a percentage, so the more power you put to the crank, the more you'll lose to the wheels, so if you can lessen that, you'll also (allegedly) help out your translife as well, and be pouring less money down the drain with mods. I dont' know jack about transmissions other than really generic information, its the one part of a car i've never dabled with. Thanks in advance!!
