    I have 2000 Grand Prix GTP and a few weeks back my trans gave out on me, since then I've been on the look for another one and i think i may have found one but im not sure if it will work it's out of a 2000 bonneville sle can anyone tell me if it will. And also does anyone know where i can find a list of trans that will work in my car.

    That has a different gear ratio and does not have the HD diff.

    Really well that sucks I'm having no luck finding any gtps in the junkyards around here and dont have the funds for a rebuild or a new trans any suggestions.

    What other cars do the 4T65E-HD come in. and come someone tell me what the hd stands for.

    I had contemplated putting a 4T65E back in it and trying to baby it but that really defeats the purpose of why i bought the car. Would the 4T65E hold up if i didn't kick into it.

    you cant use the 4T65e, it has a differnt gear ratio and wont work at all.

    you need a 4T65E-HD
