    I'm sure this has been beat to death, but what year and models have the same transmissions. I found someone with a transmission from a 2000 Grand Prix(non Gt). Is it the same as long as it came from a 3800 motor. Thanks for your help

    Yes you're fine. 97' is the different year. They had the 4t60, not 4t65 like the rest.
