Thread: code po472

01 impala with 4t65e trans, after torque converter and valve body replaced. after driving about 30 miles converter stays locked up and check engine light comes on get a code po742. after clearing the code it works great than does the same thing. other than this the trans works great. can anyone tell me if the reman converter could be the issue?? never had this problem till i replaced the converter and valve body.
