    What I need to know is if the late model trans for the 3.8 like the 06-09 GM 4t65e mount up the same as 97-03 4t65e with a 3.8. I will be running a pcs stand alone controller to run the trans.

    A newer trans will work backwards. All 05+ cases are cast a bit different in the starter area to accomodate a bracket that attaches to the aluminum oil pans so going older to 05+ causes a problem in this area but you can use the newer trans in an older car and you just dont use the bracket of attach anything to the extra mounting boss sticking out. Valve body/electrically there are a few options but for all intensive purposes it will work, especially with an aftermarket controller.

ZZP SS headers, 180 stat, NGK TR6's, MSD wires, Reptile ported TB, ported S/C, ported LIM, Intense Stage II heads with larger Manley severe duty SS valves, Yella Terra 1.9 full roller rockers, LS6 springs, Racetronix fuel pump re-wire, Oil pressure "kit", JMB FWI. Mustang dynoed at 240 WHP, 272 WTQ.
