I have had my 4t65e looked at by some transmission specialists and its the torque converter circuit thats causing my jumpy acceleration and not so smooth shifts.

The guy at the shop said the circuit is stuck on, and the solenoid will need replaced. My question is this, is that solenoid the only cause of that jumpy acceleration?

He's saying that its not common for those solenoids to go bad, and i could more than likely need a new transmission. What I want to know, is if the guy is just trying to get more money out of me. Do you guys think that if i get that solenoid fixed it will stop acting up?

you should look for a new tranny or get yours fully rebuilt, or you could just keep driving and
one day your car will just stop moving. LOL
