ZZP sells an aluminum transmission pan here. They claim it keeps the transmission cooler. I figure I'm about due for a transmission flush anyway, and that would be the time to stick it on. Is this a worthwhile investment?

If you can justify spending the cash I would say yes. A drop in temps even a small one is always a good thing. The drain plug is a awesome feature.

$200 to get more miles out of a transmission? That doesn't bother me. But does it work?

Eh, got too lazy to buy it... figured I had actual problems to fix before I go for slight improvements. On the other hand, the flush dropped my fluid temp 10 degrees. That's all kinds of exciting. But yeah... hopefully by the time I'm due for it again, I'll have fixed everything and this'll be all that's left to do.
