bottom of the tranny, the little cover that covers the teeth of the flexplate....I have fluid pouring out from there.....front pump shaft seal? the torque converter itself? It gave no signs of failing, and as long as there is tranny fluid in, it runs and shifts fine....what ya think? Thanks for the help.

There are a few causes for a leak to be here in the severity of yours and is likely the front seal leaking, but not because the seal is bad. The seal can blow out if you stall the car up at heavy throttle for an extended period of time. I have also seen the bushing on the inside of the torque converter that rides on the stator support shaft destroyed which causes the converter to sag on the seal and leak badly. One time, and this will be very rare, a weld on the torque converter was cracked and leaked only when the car was running. Either way you will need to pull the trans out of the car to see what condition you have.

Well, its my torque converter. The bushing in it was wore out, causing the seal to leak. I was told everything else looks good though.
