When I get on the sway and drive for say ten miles then get off and try some city driving my car shifts funny. It will get up to 3000 Rpms then slip some up to 3500 rpms then shift to second and it's a hard shift. What ahold I do it only happens after eway driving. I was think flush fill with new filter and gasket but have heard bad things about doing that people told me it will stir up drit in trans and cause problems Let me know thanks

trans flushes done right will not hurt the car... i had mine flushed/filter/fluids... noticed a big difference.. just go to a respectable shop to have it done... have it scanned for codes first.

Y I didn't mean flush I was talking about a filter change and that only drains out about 5 quarts so it will be 5 quarts new and the rest old. So will it be ok to put in 5 quarts of new trans fluid

Fluid filter changed. Not sure on how dirt gets in trans that's just what I was told maybe they mean metal that magnet did not get. I just want to do a fluid filter change and use full synthetic
