take some GREEN scotchbrite and clean the bores of the accumulator before you install. Its recommended on transmission rebuilds. Just make sure you clean all debris when you reinstall it. The scotchbrite gives a place for the fluid to sit so the seal doesn't stick as the piston travels

I know this is a way old thread and that this is off topic, but I keep seeing these write ups all around the board, and when I go there I get an error that the page is not there. Are the how-to pages going to be back online soon, or am I missing the info or updates on this? There are several other write ups I want to look at and none of them work for me.

That helps, but I am still curious about the how-to links not working. This one for example: http://www.grandprixforums.net/shift_kit.php takes me to a warning/error page, and several other links from other threads do the same thing. I noticed that it is all the links that end in .php. Is there a problem with the site or the links? Anyone know if they will be back online soon (I know they have been down for quite some time)? There are others that I would also like to follow but none of them work...I have tried searching and have not found a description of the issue or what the status is.

The board is in the process of being updated when Rocket has time. Hopefully he can get to it..but meanwhile if you ask, we can refer you to other links that do work or do fresh writeups for you.

Cool, thanks. I am also wanting the one on repairing the windows found here: http://www.grandprixforums.net/window.php.

Is there another way to access that or another write up of it?

Repairing windows? You mean swapping a window regulator?

No, a fix for switches intermittently not working. The link I am looking for is from the first post in this thread: http://www.grandprixforums.net/repai...witch-109.html
