Are there any differences between the trans. cooler lines on a 97 or 99 grand prix? I went to the parts store, and all they could get are lines for a 97 gp gt. I have a 99, and I dont want to pay the $55/ line that the dealer wants. Any help would be appreciated.

It could be the difference between whether the lines at the radiator end are threaded fittings or push-in/quick connect style.

    Which do you have?

99 and up should have the push in quick connect fittings while earlier models have the threaded style fittings on the lines.

Ain't there adapters for these? If you swap a newer trans into an old model or vise versa?

Yeah mine are push type connectors. I cant see the lines themselves being all that different really. Were the transmissions any different between 97-99?
