Lets start this out with some REAL carnage... my torque snapped this right in half apparently.
(edit: this was meant as a joke... haha)

Do I win? Wasnt the grand prize a fully build Trannyman transmission guaranteed to dip me into the 10's delivered to my door?
Come on, you gotta post some up. I KNOW you've seen worse. You have right?
You know, I would have actually preferred your damage over mine...LOL.
Naaaa, I waited until after I was working to slam a beer lol. Here are some pics of the few parts I saved for the heck of it. Sure there has been tons of metal shrapnel here and there but I never took pics of it. The first pic is probably my favorite, yet short and sweet!
Another shot below. Would anyone like to take a guess what caused the center of the sprocket to break out??? This was a bone stock 98 GTP that one week prior to the damage had a transmission flush at the BIG local trans shop. It was 3 quarts low on fluid and she went to pass somebody and the rpms went way up and then BANG!!! They flushed the trans and never checked the fluid level, admittingly
This pic I have posted before and why I dont suggest an LSD to anyone for daily street driving!
Below is a common problem, No 4th gear anymore. The splines stripped off the end of the 4th clutch shaft
And the trans I just went through a few days ago for a customer. No movement at all in any gear and gradually went from slipping to nothing. Below are a handful of pics of the parts. A BAD sprocket support bearing will do THIS!!!
Pic of what it is supposed to look like
Awww man, you were supposed to make me feel better and show me hordes of metal in a pan and how you replaced a $5 part and made it like new again.
I dont like you anymore.
The one with the cat looking through the hole in the diff cover cracked me up. LOL
Mine:
Worn but not yet shredded 4th gear clutch shaft:
(replaced and upgraded to the newer hardened one)
Broken pins from the Input Speed Sensor reluctor wheel:
Worn cover from the pins being loose:
Ripped tranny mount form too much damn torque:
Not really carnage, but repairing the damage from over torqued tranny pan bolts with my 12 ton arbor press:
~F~
