You can use up to an 02 year transmission but there are many different models of the 4T65E with different gear ratios and this must be verified befure using a different trans or you will encounter codes and the transmission will not work correct. On all 00-02 transmissions they use a different style cooler line fitting and you will need to use the correct type fittings to work with your 99 which should be a thread in style line, the 00+ model years used a quick connect style line

Then it probably isn't from a GT. It's from a GTP (HD tranny) and won't work in your car without extra modifications done.

You'll have to change out the differential, sun gear, differential cover, and output shaft from your old one into the new one. Also the torque converter would probably be the wrong size so it would need to be changed as well.

To build it right you are easily going to have over $500 in parts plus the cost of a new torque converter. There is no set list of parts you will need because every transmission is different so you wont know exactly what you will need until it is apart. As a minimum you should get a master rebuild kit which includes all new seals-gaskets-clutches-molded pistons-steel plates, new input sun gear, new chain set, hardened 4th shaft, all new solenoids OR reman valve body, filter, shift kit. There is generally a few hard parts inside that need replaced as well but again you will have to take the trans apart to see how it looks
