    sometimes my car will not want to come out of park. it makes a clicking noise in the dash? sometimes one push of the override button to the right of the shifter works sometimes it doesnt any bypass or fix to this i know it sounds dumb but im gettin sick of it lol thanks

    You could remove the brake shift interlock solenoid or replace it, sounds like its going bad.

    put a spacer between the little plastic piece for the unlock think and it works great thanks a lot mini for your help

    in ur center council where the maual unlock is that u have to use a key it pushes down on a white lever inside i pushed the lever down and put a spacer behind it so its held unlocked

    Its an electrical solenoid. Electrical parts go bad. Either replace or disable. Legally i would have to advise you to replace it, as it could be a safety hazard (legality reasons) and yes, people have been sued over things like this in the past when they disabled something like this and someone gets hurt because stupid people dont press the brake pedal before they shift out of park.

    ok thanks, its just odd because this happened simultansiously with my car almost overheating
